I tried opening the photos on the SD card using DxO Pro 11 and it does not have any problem opening it. If you use Raw then it doesn’t matter which color profile you select as you can change it late in Lightroom (or ACR). I don't have a CC Lightroom but the stand alone product Lightroom v 5.7.1. There are lens hoods (Olympus) that cost more than Lightroom. I am not sure if because I updated my Sony A7II firmware weeks ago when I started having this issue importing my photos.
I shot almost 30,000 images last year, the $80 to upgrade every other year is worthwhile for me, plus I wanted the HDR and pano, the more I can do with one program the less time I spend editing.
I dumped the NX1 for the same reason, converting the h265 video was a PITA for me. Personally I have no interest in converting. Yes, it's an additional step, but it saves the cost of upgrading LR. I use DNG converter version 9.3.0 for this purpose, but a version 9.4 is available at (for Windows.) I suspect Adobe may do the same for some future RAW formats. It took me a few minutes to figure it out at first, but it works well. There is a free Adobe DNG converter software program available that converts A7II RAW files to DNG, and which then can be imported into LR 5.7.
